Dr. Jim Guilkey

Dr. Jim Guilkey is an innovative learning expert, owner of S4 NetQuest, published author, and highly sought-after speaker. He is an acknowledged and acclaimed expert on learning strategy. He served as the Assistant Director of Flight Education at OSU working to train pilots, and developed the FAA’s National Safety Program. Jim published his first book, Simplifying the FAR/AIM – An Essential Guide for the Private Pilot, in 1993.

In 2000, he co-founded S4 NetQuest, and serves as the company’s president to-date. Jim is based in Columbus, Ohio. He is a Cleveland Browns fan, a pilot, and he is passionate about the S4 NetQuest Foundation.

Speaking & Involvement

Jim has spoken at numerous conferences and events. He was a keynote speaker at the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Conference, and has spoken at the Society for Applied Learning Technology (SALT) Conference multiple times.

Education

Dr. Guilkey received his B.S. in Aviation from Ohio State University. He then went on to get his M.A. and Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology at Ohio State University.
